Christmas Fair - on a Friday from 5pm to 7pm - is it me or is that just rubbish?

Dh won't be home so that will make it less enjoyable to go because I'll have all three to look after by myself.
It's that time of the day when ds likes to have a bit of a moan.
And it's the time of the day when I would normally get the children fed and bathed to then start my well-deserved period of rest.

And, I would imagine, lots of kids are at after-school clubs at that time too. Why are they not doing it on a Saturday? Poor take-up on previous years?

Agree with you about tea etc too.

Silly timing.

We have ours on a Fri eve 6-9pm to co-incide with the Festive Light switch on in the small town centre. Always been a winner for us on a Fri eve!

In a way 6 to 9 would be better, at least dh would be home then and could help with looking after the children.

Ours is usually on a Saturday 11am-2pm. When dd was at first school it was on a Friday after school until about 4.30pm.
