Windsor: St Georges Castle school or St Edwards First school.....help?

any local knowledge here would be massively appreciated. I know that many of the primary schools in windsor are rated as outstanding, but how does that stack up compared to the local private schools? Am particularly interested in St George's (where we are on the list for entry in Sept) and St Edwards first school.

St Edwards has quite a strong Catholic feel so I suppose that is a factor depending on how you feel about it. There is also no comprehensive wrap around at St Edwards' (or there wasn't when I was picking up a friend's children from there). I don't know whether St George's has afterschool club but you would be able to find an independent that did. I find it invaluable to have flexible access to daily after school care. We had been planning to use Lambrook and they have great wrap-around.
