Hi ladies, been lurking for a while but this is my first time posting. DH has already been living in the East Dulwich area for 6 years but I'm thinking of moving due to DS going to Uni in London. DD (7) and DS (5) are doing well in our local Independent despite having dyslexia and dyslexia/dyspraxia. We own a home just near Ruskin Park.
DD is doing well despite her difficulties which we are working hard to overcome. She swims competitively and enjoys most sports. She is also musical, playing piano and violin. However I think she's done so well because of the caring environment of her current school.
DS is a just finding his feet and doesn't yet quite know what he likes and dislikes-he is a sensitive child. It would be more convenient to have them both in the same school.
I am hoping for any observations from parents who actually know the schools in the area.
We are looking at DC starting Sept 2016 so I'm doing the groundwork.
