Talk to me about School transfer due to moving please

We are looking to move to knowle and we found a house in the catchment of bentley heath. Good school turned into an academy. Does anyone know how this transfer would work and has any advice thanks

You need to talk to Solihull schools admission; they will find you a local school space. If Bentley have a space, then all well and good - if not, then they will find you something else. Merely living near the school doesn't mean they have to admit you if they are full.

Thanks yes i will be speaking to them tomorrow if i can get through tomorrow. I was wondering if anyone knew what the waiting list is roughly on the schools there. We are considering keeping him in the old school and travel back and forth 2hrs a day but it seems a bit daunting
