My child will be in year 2 in sept 2015. I phoned school to register for 7+ but they are closed in Easter. do you think it is still Ok to register her or is it too late for registration? the school will do assessments in oct - dec 2015

It should say on the admissions page of the schools website but generally speaking for most schools registrations close end October for exams in January. I would think you still have plenty of time to register even if the exams are as early as you say.

I think it really does depend on the school and demand for places.

If you live in an area which is flooded with academics and relocating Londoners you might find that they are a lot more flexible.
