Standards test

Hi All,

I hope that you can help. My son is in year 5 and the school have said that when they get back to school they will have a standards test. We weren't given any details as to what they consist of, all they said was that you can't prepare for these kind of tests.

Have your children ever done these sort of tests?

I would greatly appreciate it if someone can give me some more details on them.

I would imagine it's just a school set test to see how they are getting on; our school do similar, but they call them a "summary of learning".

I really wouldn't give them another thought.

Could be something like CATT test which are basically IQ tests???
