Hi all,

My DS will be starting primary school soon. Does anyone know or have any opinions on St Thomas Becket RC in South Norwood and St Chads RC in South Norwood? Rumours are that St Thomas Becket is a failing school where the teaching standard has dropped immensely recently and that a few of the parents are now opting to take their children out of the school. St Chads I was told has a new Head Teacher and that the previous one who was there was useless..

Any thoughts please would be appreciated.

Which school was your dd at? Wouldn't you use the same one again?

Hello Ladymuck,

I have just recently moved into this area hence I was throwing it out there. But yes if I was in my previous area I would definitely have my DS attend my DD school.
