I think it sounded very sensible.

I liked his use of TKAM - one of my favourite books.

I wish AD1 (y11) had better phonics knowledge. Despite being a keen reader she struggles to pronounce new words as she is very hazy on the phonics. If the y1 test had been around in her day, it would have been picked up and addressed in infants.
