Have you tried MN local?

Leeds schools are very heavily oversubscribed and there is an ongoing basic place need. In Burley you probably wont have any choice- where you live will determine the school (unless you want a faith school). There are ongoing plans to extend existing schools and open new schools and that may well create a bit more choice. Many schools have 2 year old part time places but not all have either 2 year old places or school nurseries. They would usually go to the same school as each other?

We used to live in Burley, and my dd went to preschool at Kirkstall Valley PS, which was lovely. Preschool was mixed in with Reception, and we were very happy with the school. 3 years ago, they weren't oversubscribed, not sure how it is now.
