Fawcett School Cambridge or other Cambridge primaries

Hi, I'm a regular poster but I've name-changed not to out myself.
My DS is due to start school in September 2016 and we live in catchment for Fawcett. Even though the school had a "Good" in the most recent Ofsted report, I'm not sure whether to send DS there because many different people with children there have said to me that there is a bullying problem and some children there are really quite rough. The Ofsted report is from 2011 so I'm taking it with a pinch of salt.
Can someone comment on this school and other primaries such as Morley Memorial, Queen Emma/Edith, Ridgefield? They all seem to have a better reputation than Fawcett but how difficult would it be to get in?
Thanks

Ican't help much, but used to live with a family whose children went to Morley Memorial, and I went in and volunteered quite a bit. I thought it was a lovely place, but that was many years ago so it could be very different now.

I don't know the others you've mentioned, other ones I know of are right across town.

Have friends who are happy with both Morley and Ridgefield. Suggest you call them all and book visits.

Thanks. Problem is, looking at last year's stats not all the children in catchment managed to get in so I'm wondering if it's pointless to even apply.
