Is there an app that does this?

I would like a times tables app for ds1 and the ones I have don't quite do what I want. He knows his 2,10,5 and 3 times tables in order and mixed up.

I'd like an app that I can say which groups I want it to ask mixed up so to start with the ones he knows then add in the next lot he's learnt, just to consolidate his learning.

The apps I've found so far will only mix up either one set of tables or all of them right up to the 12's.

Sorry if my post isn't clear, I couldn't find a way to word it well!

I don't know of one that does exactly as you ask but DD uses a Dorling Kindersley 10 minutes a day one that does each individual times table in order, then mixed up and then does mixed groups so 1, 2 and 10; 3, 6 and 12 etc.

As far as I can remember, it's free so might be worth having a look.

This one does what you described you want it to do. You can also play games "against" each other. Dd loves it (she always wins of course) Grin

Mathbingo

Thanks for the suggestions, I can't find the first one. I have the second two but they aren't quite what I was after.

For example the maths bingo is brilliant but I want to be able to tell it which tables to include. On the first level it was asking from the 2,5, 10, 3&6's. We haven't started his 6's yet and I really just want the app to consolidate what he has learnt already.

Not an app but the website www.transum.org has a tables master game which does what you want, mixed times tables of your choice and you can adjust the speed

Go yo the times tables page and pick the flash tables game

Squeeble Time Tables 2 may do it - there is a random test which I think you can disable the times tables you do not want testing in the parents area.

Numberjack's Times Tables allows you to pick one, some, or all times tables you want to work on (2-10).

Once you've highlighted which times tables you have 4 different games you can play. The first two games practice the timetables chosen. Only the third game asks times tables questions, and it does have answers to choose from rather than allowing you to type in the correct answer. The fourth game gets you to choose two factors from a choice of four to then 'link' to 3 multiples.

We have quite a few timetable apps and this is the only one I've found that allows you to choose exactly which tables you want to work on in this way.
