Maths books for KS2

Hi, I have an 8 year old son, 9 in May. I wanted to buy a Maths book, which follows the national curriculum guidelines, so we can do a little bit of work throughout the half term holidays. Can anyone recommend any suitable books please? I know they have changed a lot of the Maths methods now, so would like to follow on with what he's being taught at school.
Thanks in advance Smile

Hi my DS's teacher gave the following link. My maths and sumdog are also great online resources.

We love these ones. You can look up sample pages on the website to figure out the one you need.

If you are looking for something that follows the curriculum, you will want the new curriculum, not the old one. I'm not sure how much stuff is available for that yet.

Perhaps the yearly framework question books and associated study books from here. www.cgpbooks.co.uk/Parent/books_KS2_Maths_Workbook_Range#Skills Workbooks (Years 3-5)

You might need to go back a year to cover some of the gaps where stuff that used to be taught later is now in yr 3.
