Hi there, DD struggles to keep up in maths. I'm looking for a good app for her Hudl that might help her practice and consolidate what she learns in class. Can you recommend anything?

Robot maths- part game, part maths.

Thanks Chariot. Has anyone tried the Mr Thorne's ones? (Space Station, Table Terra or Divide +Conquer)?

I'd recommend Komodo maths. It works well on our Hudl and is much better than the game apps we tried - I've seen an improvement in dd's maths since using it.

How does Komodo work?

Or am I confusing it with another system of teaching maths, out of japan?

Does it make me a little sad that I've even playing monster maths and Komodo since I read this?

I like education city which they can play on tablets by downloading puffin browser. There are money off deals and codes for yearly subs but if the school has it for inclass use parents can pay £2 per year to use

Yes, we also have Ed City, but the kids often get distracted with the languages - they love the French stuff - and so we find it hard to focus unless the teacher sets specific homework. It is a great tool though and the children love it.
