We are waiting for 7+ prep results this week outside of London. Am now panicking...will the school give a reason/results if it is a no or wait list? It is very academic and we have been led to believe that it is purely results focused but there are a few rumours (I know) floating around that preference can be given to children whose parents attended the school and to siblings (even though the school states it does not). Can you appeal a result? What if a child you know that is less able is offered a place and your isn't. Is it just a case of tough luck??
