Bad behaviour of 6 year old daughter

My daughter is six years old next week and my husband and I are constantly being called in to school re: her mean behaviour to classmates and aggressiveness. She rarely shows any remorse and will often lie about what happened or deny anything is wrong but then suddenly cries and states she can't control her behaviour. The school are very good and have been having regular meetings with teaching staff but at wits end as to what to do with her reoccurring bad behaviour.

Hi,
Is she young for her year? Feeling overwhelmed and can't work out why?
Is she being bullied by others? Egged on in some way? Is she bored in class?

Would it be helpful to have ed psych take a look?

Most youngsters are naughty to some extent, and teachers can only discipline so far. I feel for you. I've had teachers moaning at me for nearly 5 years! And ds is not a bad kid!

To encourage better behaviour from our ds we use tick charts for chores well done. And a treat given straight away. Not left til the weekend.

Good luck. Sending tea and sympathy.
