Colet Court 7+ reserve list 2015

Hello - anyone else found themselves on the 7+ reserve list for Colet Court? Happy to share the pain of waiting with a bigger group...!

Encouraging news for those on CC 7+ reserve list as I know a family who just turned down their spot.

Colet take 36-38 at each of 7+ and 8+. KCJS take about 56 at 7+ and about another 10 at 8+. So it's easier to get into KCJS at 7+ and easier to get into Colet at 8+.

KCJS said 247 boys did the 7+ exam this year. I don't have the equivalent number for CC.

Has anyone heard from CC? Do you think they will give us a call or send a letter again?

Thanks everyone for contributing to this - reserve list people who made it now have their offers and everyone else a no. Good luck to everyone with children starting in September at King's (elder son loves it), Colet (lots of friends love it) and other schools - as well as those staying where they are for Year 3.

jumping on this a little late, but wondering if any of you who have been through this before think there will be any shift in the reserve lists at this point, esp for CC. DS is apparently now v close or at top of list, and were told that there may be some more movement or someone will pull out, but not that likely. should we just move on and get ready for 8+, or might there be some hope?!

Anything can happen in personal circumstances that cause a boy to withdraw his acceptance of a place a few months from now or even up to end of August such as international job transfers, inability to pay school fees, etc. I've seen it happen but the odds are low.

I would move on and concentrate on next year's 8+ so as to not waste any more time. If it happens, it happens.
