Hello - please could someone knowledgable level this piece of writing?

Is it about right for Reception? He wrote this in 'free time' at school, unsupported.

The mows that ran

The mows was happy
Wat a good day
Doodee dam (He's singing, apparently) sead the mows
Yay saed the mows. (picture of mouse jumping for joy)
Yum sede the mows (picture of mouse finding cheese)
Meeow sede the cat!
and he ran!

(he did use the exclamation marks and one full stop but no other punctuation.)

Many thanks in advance.

I think it's good for Reception, clear thought out story line! Love the sound of the accompanying pictures :)
