London Girls Preps 4+

Just wondering who is waiting on results from the Girls' prep schools in west / central London?

We have heard from Francis Holland SW1 and are waiting on Falkner House, Glendower and Kensington Prep.
Any comments or advice from those with girls at these schools would be really welcome, too!

same here. Falkner House supposed to send letters out tomorrow. Will be another week till we hear from Ken Prep / Glendower most likely. Good luck with FH tomorrow!

FH sends our emails, others do by post. Last year Ken Prep sent us an email and a letter.

These are all great schools. If you are fortunate to get several offers, I'd consider proximity as an important factor. I.e. If you live in Fulham, Ken Prep is an obvious choice.

Between Glendower and Falkner - I'd choose based on how you feel about the Headmistresses. Results are pretty comparable but the schools have a different feel.

Mrs.G runs her school pretty tightly, so you need to like/trust her. Some people do and others do not.

Mrs.K is getting good changes implemented at Glendower. And the school is a little less a "black box" as FH is from the parent's point of view. However, there are about 20 siblings this year, so the assessment intake will be lower than usual.

congratulations VioletBlooming! We didn't do FH assessment, I also respect Mrs G very much but didn't feel DD would thrive there, so I knew I was not going to send her. Very keen on KP. Usually it is easier to get into Glendower than FH and offers tend to be correlated, so I wouldn't be surprised if you get more good news!

I know FH and its head well. Mrs G is the school's best asset - totally formidable. It is a very happy school that produces amazing results. Congrats.

Does anyone know when queensgate send letters? And ken prep?
