Please any advice on a nice area to live with good primary schools anywhere in SE England??
Sevenoaks or Tunbridge Wells look like nice options but any advice will help. Thanks.

Hi - I don't have any info really on TW but all of the primaries in Sevenoaks seems pretty good - with the usual proviso that they have small catchment areas and competition for spaces. The main central ones that I have friends with children at and who are happy with them are Lady Boswells (C of E - preference to church goers), Sevenoaks Primary and Riverhead. The Kent CC brochure details the last years distances so you could consult that and choose your location wisely. There are a number of pretty small village primaries on the outskirts of the town too - with I think more varying standards?

The only thing I would say about Sevenoaks is that the secondary sch situation is a bit unusual - in that although it is in Kent it does not have its own Grammar sch - but is making a bid to have one (as it stands currently it will be all girls) - but at the moment children either bus out to the (super selective) grammars in Tonbridge and TW or go to one of two comprehensives - Knole Academy and Trinity Free Sch (brand new and again C of E).

With Tunbridge Wells many of the primaries are over subscribed so it will depend on where in TW you live.

Are you only considering T wells or Sevenoaks? as many of the villages around have primary schools too.
