Falcons Girls School in Putney

I'm thinking of moving my dd's from a prep school in Chiswick to the FGS. I would be grateful for any insights into the school- I have read previous good reviews here but wondered if the move to Putney has changed things?

We live in Putney and a variety of friends started their girls at FGS this September. I have heard nothing but lovely things from the Mums.

Our daughter started Falcons in Sept 2014 (post move from Ealing) and we couldn't be happier with it. Inspiring teachers, small class sizes and a very happy atmosphere. Parents also a very welcoming bunch.

Honeybun we are two peas in a pod, I'm thinking of doing exactly the same with my DD and had asked the same question about Falcons earlier today. Good to hear it's well regarded!

Im thinking of sending dd to Falcons (Putney) for reception, but don't know what the current situation is with the school. Would be great to hear recent insights about the overall performance. Thanks a ton.

@shoutymcshoutsmum @Milkandhoneymum ladies, could you share your views on Falcons Girls (the comments above are a bit outdated), is the school still as positive and nurturing? Also @Oneveryworriedmum @tansam, did you end up sending your DDs to FGS? Would really appreciate your most up to date thoughts!

Hi @mumofan8yearoldgirl - am afraid my daughter is now at senior school so any comments will be a bit out of date. She joined in Yr 2 and stayed until the end of Yr 6 and we were super happy. Lovely teachers, small classes and they prep them really well for the 11+ too. Hope you find someone with more recent experience. Good luck!
