Gatehouse School, Victoria Park

My child is likely to start at Gatehouse school in Victoria park next September. It seems like a really lovely school, warm, friendly and well organised. I know there have been some changes recently, with the long term and well respected head leaving. I have also been told that the deputy is also to leave soon. Do any current parents have insight into where the school is heading, particularly with the new head at the helm?

We are very happy with the school. With regard to the staff changes
Mrs Canham (wonderful school head) retired in Sept 2014 and we now have Mr Francis a dynamic head who has taken to the role at GH brilliantly…of course all change takes time to adjust but only praise so far.
As for deputy changes... the new deputy is a much loved and respected part of the Gatehouse school team.
The now deputy Mrs Korbay has been head of lower juniors for many years
and is always a great go to for support and school knowledge.
Overall the teaching is great, my daughter has flourished in so many ways under the care of Gatehouse - Victoria Park
