Primary School in Hedge End

We are looking to relocate to Hedge End and looking at primary schools over there as our son is due to start school in September 2015. I know it's not a lot of time before we have to submit an application and unfortunately we won't have time to visit all the schools before making a decision.

We are visiting few properties to rent within the next few days and they all fall into different catchment areas.

We obviously would like to choose the best school for our son, who wouldn't ? ;) So can you please tell me your opinions on different primary schools?

Shamblehurst seems to be under subscribed each year, does it mean we should try to avoid this school or is simply because of the area of Hedge End that it covers?

I have spoken to some of the parents but the more opinions the better.

Thank you

Don't know how far out of Hedge End you'd be willing to go, but I know a couple of mums at Durley and they're very happy with it.

Shamblehurst looks under-subscribed as it took a bulge class - too many for two classes but not enough for three.
