Hi there, I'm looking for recommendations for some great non-fiction books (perhaps a set?) for my 6yo please?

My Y1/2 class love cooking books - I think maybe they enjoy the sequencing with pictures breaking up the text. Don't know if that's the sort of thing you are after?

Hi OldRoan, she is fascinated by history mainly, closely followed by natural phenomena (space, volcanos etc).

Usborne Beginners is a nice series of various topics.

See Inside from Usborne as well.

Was also going to suggest the "See Inside" Usborne series - my 6 year old has quite a few of these and loves them.

Perfect! Thankyou.

ds loves DK eyewitness and horrible histories

also, The Incredible Ancient History Book Box, usborne world encyclopaedia and a british history encyclopaedia

the boy who biked the world - fiction but ds loved it (he normally only reads non-fiction)

also age appropriate biographies
