Ok so I know this has been done a few times before but dd is due to start Reception next September but I am at a loss as to where to apply??
My dd is currently at the Pre-school of one of the local schools and we're really not very happy.
I've been on open mornings and asked questions but don't feel like I really got an idea about the schools.
We live fairly central so looking at last years figures we could get holmesdale or dovers green but I'm not convinced by either.
I've not heard such great things about Holmesdale recently and it just seemed really cramped now that its 4 class entry the whole way through, does anyone have any up to date knowledge on this school especially as its ofsted report is about 8 years old.
The ofsted report for dovers worries me a bit, it's outstanding but attainment 'requires improvement' again any insider knowledge much appreciated, but outstanding in every other aspect. Just seems a bit odd.
