I am looking to move to Watford near Sydney Road (near Cassiobury Park) , can you suggest what primary schools are recommended in the area. My little man is 4 yrs old.

I would suggest Charter Infants School on Southsea Avenue. They are rated by Ofsted as Good but their feeder junior school on Addiscombe Road are rated Outstanding. We moved from North Watford in May but did not move our ds from his school as he is in year 6 and didn't want to move one year for him to then move onto senior school the next. I have heard good things about Charter. HTH

Sorry it's not Charter but Chater school

Lots of good things said about Chater. Doing very well.

Any reviews or ideas about Yorke Mead school? Thank you in advance

Have friends with children at York Mead. Very very happy with it and children thriving. I get the impression it is a wide, inclusive school. Children enjoy it.
