Hi there, I'm looking at Bathampton primary for reception entry next September for my DD and wondered if anybody has personal experience of the school. I've visited and liked it, especially the outside space and ICT side and I was shown around by two very articulate, friendly year 6s (obviously chosen for the job, but they were great!) and I also met the head, who seemed personable and switched on. However, I didn't get to meet any of the teachers which was a shame, and I'm finding it difficult to get a real feel for how things actually work in the classroom if that makes sense. Does anybody know the school or send their children there? I'd really like to find how parents view the school and if it's easy to communicate with the teachers? Is the teaching good? (I'm guessing it is because the results have been impressive in recent years but would be useful to hear about it in practice). Are your children happy there, and why? Is it's good reputation deserved? Any advice, insight or wise words much appreciated. I've posted this on BathMums too so sorry for any cross over.
