Application to 2ndary church school

We intend to apply for a 2ndary school for dd3 this year. Our first 2 choices are both church schools with church criteria. We qualify for this and I have spoken to our reverend who has already said she is happy to sign forms for us.

However on getting the schools info they both want chirstening certificates and I can not find them anywhere. Today I rang the church who they are christened in to be told their priest is on holiday and not due backuntil next week. I am getting a bit skittish with regards to getting a replacement (the church is not a COE one - Danish)

if this is not possible to do in time for the application deadline. Would it be possible to leave a explanation and ffw the christening certificate later or will we be unable to do this?

It is up to the schools concerned. They can set their own policy on this. Ask them. Make sure you get the answer in writing (email will do). That way you have evidence of what was said in case they do something different.

Ty ph47 I hope once priest is back we can get a copy quickly and it wont come to needing anything. Meanwhile I woll continue tearring the house apart looking for them
