What age for Clarice Bean??

Wasn't sure where to post this! What age are the 'Clarice Bean' books aimed at? TIA

DD liked the picture from age 3.5y (laughing out loud at acrobats "smiling in tights" and so on) but I would say she has only really "got" the full length books in the past couple of months. She's now 5.5y
