Ambler versus Drayton Park in Islington?

Hi, my daughter has just started at Drayton Park but yesterday was offered a place at Ambler. Looking at SATs results etc. and the make up of each school there doesn't seem to be much of difference between the two except Ambler got a 'Good' ofsted report back in 2012 and Drayton Pk has received 'requires improvement' in March of this year. I really am in a dilemma as to whether I should move my daughter who has been in Reception for only a week. Neither were high up in my list of choices and there are other schools that I am remaining on the waiting list for and would prefer over both. Anyone who can help with their views on either school would really be appreciated. Thanks!

I know that area but don't have children at either school. I do have friends who do and both are reasonably happy I would say - neither of them had Ambler or Drayton Pk as first choice. If I had to choose, I'd go for Ambler BUT I think it would depend how likely it was that a place would come up at my other "preferred" schools. Do you know where you are on the waiting lists for them?

I would say Drayton Park is slightly better than Ambler IMO, results have a slight edge, so I wouldn't move her.
