Hi, We are now edging towards having to decide on schools for our son who will be 4yrs in 2015, he's a fairly bright boy and seems to be developing into a very inquisitive all rounder. Does anyone have any experience of the two schools as they both seem good but are miles apart in their approach.

Hi Tori, Thanks, how long has your ds been at Willington ? We liked the school and their approach , just concerned with the lack for play space and no hot meals at lunch, have had very positive feedback about Willington on the whole.

Just posting to echo what Tori24 said really. Willington is a truly lovely school with a family feel. They really care about the boys and are very approachable if there are any problems. They have wonderful staff and they get the results but without the unrelenting pressure you can find elsewhere. Let me know if you want any specifics. Yes, they don't have a lot of outdoor space but the fields they use at Drax are good for sports etc. I think the hot lunches issue will be down to personal preference but we haven't found it an issue. We did look at the Hall but it just didn't have quite the same feel for us but I think you do just get a feel for whether a place is right for your ds when you visit.
