On Friday I have an interview lesson with year ones: read a story/ text/ book followed by a linked writing activity. I was going to focus on question marks - writing questions that we want to ask the main character.

I've got a tiny bit but not much experience with yr1 (job isn't actually for year 1!) and can not think of a book to use for this - any help please? I need to order it from amazon in the next 5 hours to arrive next day!!!!
(also posted on chat for traffic)

Thank you so much .

Oh, and it needs to be a really short book as only 30 for whole lesson.

DS Y! has just done the Tiger Who came to Tea at school with a follow up of write an invitation to an animal you would like to come to tea. could be fun to ask a tiger lots of questions. They also did Dogger and lots of "How do you feel" questions for Dave when he loses Dogger and when he finds him again.

Tiger who came to tea is good, as is any fairytale.
