Fitted polo shirts?

I bought M&S white polo shirts for DD, she's 9, and they have the most awful fit, sack-like and boxy, too long so there is too much material to tuck into the skirt, there is no way she is wearing them. They are obviously too big, but the size down would still not have a good fit, they are very wide. She has changed schools, in the old school she had to wear a proper shirt, now it's polo shirt, and I find that the different outlets don't have the same as a few years ago. Where do I get a nice fitted white polo shirt that isn't too long? Am currently looking at BHS slim fit, are they any good? She is not skinny, so I don't normally buy slim fit, but I was thinking that perhaps I should for the polo shirts.

Yes. M&S polo shirts are square! No shape at all.
Asda are nicely shaped (but I think size down possibly) and they do a prettier version too with a ruffle on the buttons.
In fact all of the girls polo shirts are better than M&S for slimmer girls!
Next are nice too but a little more. We always buy Asda.

Thanks, MissWimpyDimple, will go shopping! Are the Next ones properly fitted? As I had a look, and they didn't look fitted. I often buy Next school uniform, so happy to go there again. But happy to buy Asda.

And throw away the M&S.
