I used easy2name - you get a 10% discount if you go to them via the MN link.

I use one of the dymo things you can get them from WH Smiths . They work a treat for lunch boxes and drinks . I super glued on a woven name lable onto a plastic material (not hard plastic ) lunch bag and school rucksack . the dymo thing really really works I cant reccomend it enough .

Stuck on you do some funky ones (I must disclose my interest here as I was an agent for them!!)
Stuck On You
They stay on in the dishwasher which is brilliant.

I have just bought a labelling machine off eBay which I am printing labels for everything on - it's a Brother p-touch 1000, you can buy the cartridges for it off eBay too - a lot cheaper than office supply shops.

Always used easy2name and they've always been very prompt and good quality.

I too have stuck on you and they stay stuck on dd1s' thinks. I bought the mixed pack that had clothes labels and sticky labels

Sugarmagnolia · 19/09/2006 13:30

I got clothing & shoe labels from able-labels but found they all fell off before DD even wore them! After that I went out and bought a laundry marker and just wrote her name on the tags of all her clothes - much quicker than ironing and doesn't wash off!
