Primary school stationary questions

DD is going into year 1 and we have a long list of stationary she needs, most of it is easy but I'm clearly being a bit thick today.

On the list it says 'an A4 size transparent zip wallet and 1 Document wallet for homework sheets' so I assume zip wallets and document wallets are in fact not the same thing? Could someone link an example of what they might mean by a document wallet please?

Also what kind of pencil case would you buy a nearly 6 year old girl?

Is a document wallet open on two sides?

TheReluctantCountess · 10/08/2014 17:07

A document wallet is a cardboard folder, I think.

Btw, it's stationEry.

Maybe, I really should have read the list before we broke up so I could of asked one of the older children's mums!

Wink I said I was a bit thick today, I had the list in front of me and still spelled it wrong.

some document wallets have a plastic press stud (if it is plastic they are looking for). Either that or you get the flip open cardboard ones

Thanks Millipede.

I have no idea if they want plastic or cardboard.
