Dd2 left the nursery she had attended for 3 years last year to go to reception. When she left she was judged to be exceeding in all areas apart from literacy.
Ive just got her end of reception report and she is now expected in everything but writing and people and communities.
I dont recognise the child that they talk about, the report talks anmbout her not being confident to move activities with out asking, not talking freely about events in her life, and needing encouragement to talk about her art work. All thungs she can do at home and could do at nursery. She was a lot more settled at nursery having gone 4 days a week since she was a baby and was very confident with the staff. Even a year later she still wants to go back.
what could have gone wrong and what can I do to help her next year?
