Hi,

We are just in the process of moving to Frome, & have a 5 year old son who will be going in to year 1 and a 3 year old daughter who will be going to kindergarten....we know absolutely nothing of the area, although have looked at websites & ofsted reports of schools & nurseries in the area, I'd really like some on the ground information about them....

So, please, if anyone can strongly recommend a school / nursery - please let me know!

Thanks very much,

Guy

I think the MN Local board for Bath has quite a few Frome education posts on it, that might give you some pointers.

i have lived in frome for a LONG time .... two nurseries i would recommend... Tall Trees at Old Ford and Pepperbox in Berkley Road. very good reputations, one very small, one quite large.
Schools..... The two good primaries in Town would be Trinity and St Louis catholic ..... just outside of town, highly sought after, Berkley school ... it does depend on where in Frome you live as to which one you'd get in to. Chapmanslade is also a very popular village primary, takes you into wiltshire... if driving is no problem.
