Year 6 sats results

Interested in finding out 2014 school year 6 sats results but can't seem to access the info on line. Any idea on how I can find out? Son has told me what grades he thinks he's got but have nothing on paper and nothing on the whole year groups general performance. I like facts and figures, although I know it doesn't represent the schools bigger picture.

Whole school/local authority/national data don't usually come out until Oct/Nov time when they are updated on the School dashboard site and elsewhere! You should have a report from the school setting out his levels, some schools send these out with annual reports, some seperately. You could check minutes of governors meetings though as results are generally ( at least in my school) reported at the next governors meeting.

Thank you, I've been checking the dashboard but will stop now and look for more internal info

Depends how often your governors meetings are! Ours is later this week, some might not report until September.

Ours was this week but minutes prob won't go up for a couple of weeks. However all the children were told the day the school got them and letters went home the following day.

Governors' minutes may not be available for a while - they don't have to be published until they are signed at the next meeting, which may not be till the next term.

The results come back from marking, and have to be reported to parents as whole levels -so 3/4/5 etc. Schools can, if they wish, sub-level the results and provide these as well as or instead of but don't have to ( as sub levels don't officially exist!)

Our school gave us the whole year data with the individual results.
