There isn't a set amount for sub levels in the tests but a 5a would roughly be 93/94 out of 100. HTH.

Depends if they took the 4-6 paper or 5-7 paper I guess

Ks2 is either a 3-5 paper or a 6 paper, I thought?

Agree is prob about 93/94 percent in the 3-5 maths paper.

There is only 3-5 paper or level 6 paper. You have to score a level 5 on the 3-5 paper and then score a 6 on the level 6 paper to be awarded the level 6. If a child gets a level 5 this will be based on his score on the 3-5 paper out of 100.

I used 94 as the cut off in my calculations. 22/3 so 7 for each sub level with the one remaining going in the middle for 5b!

Thanks all she got Level 6, but was more bothered whether 93 would be a level 5a or b,!

I had 93 as a 5b so 79-86 as a 5c, 87-93 as a 5b and 94-100 as a 5a.
