Hi

I am abroad and need to buy school uniform for reception.
I always remember comments from mums that you have to rush to buy as it all sells out.

Will I be able to buy uniform around the 10 august or is it all going to be sold out and shops don't sell anymore?

Thanks....

If you go to big supermarkets there will be enough Uniform until the end of August. M and S may have less in store but you can still order, all year around.

If it is the kind of uniform that you can only get from a specialist store (including those from Harrod's) then there is less urgency - although do allow enough time incase they have to order sizes.

My DCs secondary school is offering a discount on uniform bought before the end of July - to encourage parents to get the uniform early. I rarely buy uniform before the end of August, as my children seem to grow quickly.

Our Sainsburys sell school uniform right through the school year, however they may not always have all sizes - I had to wait several weeks before I could find the right size PE Plimsolls recently. Through to September though it doesn't seem to be a problem.

You can always buy online - much the easiest way I think

Buy on line and it will all be there all year round. Near us uniform shops also stock all year round.
