Huge achievement in my eyes ☺

Ds2, current year 6 had his sats results today.
Reading - Level 4
SPAG- Level 5
Maths - Level 4

The reason I am so proud is that he has never reached his targets before.
Infact last year he was low level 3's and in his maths test, scored less than a level 3.

He has been to every before/after school club this year and has put so much effort in!!!!
Im so proud of him. He was ecstatic to get his level 4's and even happier with his SPAG result as in September he was only using fullstops!

Maybe pretty unremarkable results to some, but to him and me, they are amazing!!! ?

Forgot to add, his teacher this year has been fantastic ??

I think that when you know how hard they've worked and all the effort that the school have put in as well then it is a very special and important achievement. He'll have learnt that hard work is worth the effort and that will almost certainly give him life long benefits. Well done to him and to you.

It is great that his effort has shown some results - by far the biggest lesson he could learn. He must be feeling great :)

Being a hard worker may well be his best asset. And measuring himself against his own standards and not being distracted by what others are doing.
