sitting 11+ for two schools exam on same day - how do I get round this?

My DD is going to sit the 11+ for two schools as we are right between both. The exams are on the same day though so how do I resolve this? Also is there any problem when applying to the schools doing this assuming she passes?
Thanks. this is a minefield I am not enjoying!

Is it just one exam for each school? How long are the various exams? Do they actually clash or is one morning and one afternoon?

no they clash, each school has three exams and they are all in the morning and the schools are about an hour apart too! Its such a pain that one exam can't count for both school as they are testing exactly the same things!

I think you need to call them both then and ask for advice. Chances are they've had applicants from your area before who've had similar issues. They may be able to let your DD sit with out of area applicants on a Saturday or something. Are the schools in different LEAs or do they have their own school exams?

Yes, im going to one on Friday so will ask, no response to email, should find time to call! they are both on a Saturday and are internal exams. different LEAs.

Very tricky that they are not answering your queries. Around here I think the local applicants sit on a weekday and the out of area applicants on a Saturday. If that's the case near you your DD may need to take a morning off school to attend one on the weekday session and sit the other on the Saturday. It could be a deliberate ploy to make you commit to one school or the other but I suspect not...
