KS2 SATS 2014 - When are results out?

Does anyone know, please?

Papers are being sent back to schools now. We still don't know the threshold levels. Very likely you will know as a parent around 9th July.

Most schools seem to have the marked papers back now, but the grade boundaries (thresholds) aren't released until next Tuesday.

We are currently checking the marking and the adding of the scores.

Don't necessarily expect to know on the 9th- we will send our results out with reports a week later, as I think many schools do.

Does anyone know what is to happen to the level 6 English paper after the debacle time allowed? Will it be voided?

Question from an ignoramus because I live outside the UK. Who marks KS2 SATS?

Cheeky- I haven't heard any suggestion of voiding it, they seem to be pretending the issue never happened.

Bonsoir- external markers, employed and trained specially. Often retired teachers I think.

What's happened with the level 6 English paper?

Some discrepancy between the instructions written on the paper and the instructions in the teacher's "manual" One said, 15 minutes reading and then start writing for 45 mins, the other said one hour in total, do with it what you like! Some schools did one, some schools did the other!
