After school club?

DD3 starting in reception and the school has increased the intake this year (planned and will be ongoing long term). The after school club run at the school is already full with waiting list only before she has even started, and with increased numbers coming in too the provision seems too little. Another local after school club is closing where I know many of the children also attend. Do the school have any obligation to increase their club size to cope with demand?

In a word no sorry. They have no obligation to provide after school care although they should be able to help with cm phone numbers for example.

No none at all, sorry

The idea of wraparound care died a death some time ago
