As far as I know the current year 1 will be the last cohort taking them next year at the end of their year 2.

May I ask Mrz what form the new tests will take in 2016? My daughter is in that cohort. Or is that still unclear. Many thanks. Brooke

Here is the government site for KS1 says from 2016 www.gov.uk/government/publications/national-curriculum-tests-changes-from-2016/national-curriculum-tests-from-2016

KS1 and KS2 assessment 2014 and 2015 – still using levels (assessment based on current NC)
Slight changes to KS2 tests (reading and maths papers)
KS1 assessment unchanged

2016 – new tests for the new curriculum (standardised scores rather than levels)
