Check this in year admission application form from Bucks:

www.buckscc.gov.uk/media/1049687/In-Year-Application-Form-2013.pdf

It states you need agreement from your current HT. From reading threads on here I thought this was illegal?

It's not that I mind getting agreement, just this wasn't the way I was planning on telling my current HT......

It is illegal. They cannot refuse to process your application just because the current HT hasn't signed it.

Pretty amazing how blatantly the law is flouted then.

I'm sure he'll sign. But if not I know where I stand....
