Brooke Priory Oakham or Stamford Junior School?

I'm moving to the Rutland area and would really love some feedback/info on Brooke Priory and SJS. I've visited both schools and like them both but would really appreciate an additional point of view. My daughter will be in year 2. Huge thanks.

Hi, I live in Rutland. I have my daughter in Year 5 at SJS. We have been there since the start of year 3. I guess it depends on what you are looking for. Brooke P is small which wouldn't have suited my daughter. She has thrived at SJS. Extra curriculum activities were important to us, sport and music especially and she excels in both. One of the teachers is leaving BP to take a post at SJS and is bringing her son with her. If you want a feeder school where a child does not need to sit an entrance exam, then SJS is also helpful for that too. Hope that helps.
