neither DS or DD's schools even have school songs When I was at school the harmony was sung by the school choir.

Ours does. It's lovely, and the children sing it so earnestly! :)

Not aware of any harmonies though.

I didn't know schools had songs. My daughter's didn't. Should I be squirming in mortification then? Thanks for tipping me off; I'll start working on the old self-loathing at once.
