Am I Going Crazy- I Was Sure This School Existed?

Friends and I were having a lighthearted conversation about school uniforms that stuck in our minds. One friend mentioned a girls' prep school with bright red overalls.

I was so sure it existed and that I had looked at the website a couple of years ago- but no amount of my (amateur) googling can find it. I think it was called Knightford or Knightsbridge?

Do any of you remember this school or are my friends and I just going crazy?

I don't know the school you're thinking of but Hill House always raises a smile!

This one?

There are red overalls in the photo gallery, but I can't find a page about the uniform.

I think it's Knighton
Overalls are really practical. My ds's school has them (thought navy not red) they wear them for woodwork etc but also for when they're messing around in the woods etc. really saves the uniform.

ICanTotallyDance · 21/05/2014 11:32

Smile Yes, thanks, Knighton is the one. I thought it was a very unique uniform and not in a good or bad way.

It was driving me nuts trying to find the school though, I thought it must have closed or something. Turns out I just had the name wrong. Thanks, everyone.

Grin have just bookmarked those sites for next time DD whinges about her school hat. I quite like the red overalls though, they'd save me a fortune in school tights/stained white socks where DD always finds the dirtiest spot to kneel in.

LeapingOverTheWall · 21/05/2014 15:36

my old school has purple and white hooped tights for girl prefects - I can't see that being much of a draw to want to be a prefect Grin. Thankfully in my day prefects had a piece of ribbon sewn onto their jumpers not that i was ever a prefect or likely to become one

The red dungarees are great at Knighton. Well loved by all - you can climb trees and cartwheel quite happily. Tradition form the beginning and still going strong.

SanityClause · 08/09/2014 21:59

Those dungarees are great!
