UWCEA or Dulwich college? My 8 and 6 years old have places in both, but my 3 year old only has a place in Dulwich. We are used to the British system and their Chinese language skills are non existence! Comments please.

You may find you get more replies if you post this in the Living Overseas section.

How much do you want your older two to go to an international school? And would it be likely that your three year old would gain a place later? How long do you think you will be in the UK and do you think they are suited to sit IB? In terms of ease, all three of them in one school would make sense.
One of my extremely capable brother in laws went to a UWCEA and he has very fond memories of his time there. In the holidays there was always someone to climb the Himalayas with! He is white, British. His holidays as a young man were spent in international destinations or sweating it out in Singapore knocking around with school friends. Doesn't speak a word of Mandarin either. I think it depends a lot on how long you will be here for. In an international community you will have quite a lot in common but school friends etc can be quite transient. In a British school you will be thrown into the deep end of the British system. I am sure both school are as competent, just different.

Not sure whether this helps or not but my DCs are at Dulwich in Beijing and so far so good. Good luck !

I have a friend with DCs at Tanglin Trust which follows British national curriculum. V happy with it so you may want to look at that too.

@mayusmok I have the same dilemma as you had 5 years ago. We've got spaces for my two kids on UWCSEA. Space for one at and the other one accepted but on the waiting list at Dulwich.
What did you do at the end?
