Thoughts on Newburgh School - Warwick

We have recently purchased a property in Warwick & our local catchment school is Newburgh. (My child will be moving school). We have viewed & get good vibes & have viewed the recent Ofsted report which has put a few concerns our way. I just wondered what users of the school/previous students/local peoples/ thoughts are. It's always good to get personal views tooGrin

I don't have children there but know several people who have. They are all happy with the school and their children are happy there. It's been improved a lot in recent years, not sure when the offsted was but it may be outdated now.

Thanks Chickengirl Wink. The Ofsted was 2012 & the head seems to be very active but i appreciate that in the grand scheme of things he hasn't been there long so the reviews of the Ofsted don't completely reflect the progress that he has made as was prior to his arrival which is why i'm doing a little digging on opinions myself Smile.

My DD is at Newburgh and she is very happy there and I am happy with the school. Admittedly I have no experience to compare it to (other than my own school days!). The head seems very good, I gather he has made some very positive changes to the school and I think it has got a good reputation in the area.
